Swim Team Tips
Spectator Seating
- Bring your own chairs
- Meets can have 100–250 people, so seating fills up quickly
Parking
- Parking can be tight — arrive early for the best spots.
- Please follow all parking instructions at away pools.
Arrival & Warm-Ups
- Home meets: Warm-ups begin at 4:15 PM
- Away meets: Warm-ups begin at 4:45 PM
- Arrive early so your swimmer has plenty of time to check in and get ready.
What to Bring
- At least 3 towels per swimmer
- Optional: quiet entertainment (cards, small games, etc.) for downtime between events.
- Please write name on all items, including goggles, as many things get left behind and end up in lost & found
Where to Sit

Home meets:
- Swimmers must stay by the diving team area "bullpen"
- Parents can sit along the side of the pool or tables
- The grass area on the far side of the pool is reserved for the visiting team
- Mushroom pool, diving pool, playground, and splash pad are closed during meets
- Away meets: Look for familiar team families to find your team area, information will be send prior to these meets with specific details
Timeframe
- Meets may run until 9:00 PM, but many finish closer to 8:30 PM.
- Events for 6 & Under swimmers are only in the first half of the meet.
They may leave after:- They’ve finished all events, AND
- Your parent volunteer shift is complete (after event #43)
- Families with swimmers ages 7-18:

Do not leave when individual races are done, UNLESS:
- Your swimmers is not in a relay at the end of the meet, AND
- You have completed your volunteer half through the end of the meet

Food & Concessions
- CCR provides food for purchase — please leave all coolers at home.
- We will share details about away meet concessions when available.
Please clean up after yourselves before leaving.
